Job summary

Crash Champions in Mechanicsville, MD is seeking a experienced manager to lead collision repair operations. You will oversee both front- and back-of-shop activities from intake to delivery, assign tasks to body technicians, and ensure adherence to quality standards and insurance procedures.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to meet deadlines, and hands-on experience with CCC ONE Total Repair Software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Collision Industry including high-level knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements for a variety of carriers.
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve successful results.
• Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software, CCC ONE Total Repair Software
• Proficient with Computers and other technology
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed location revenue goals and other KPIs.
• Manage the front and back of shop from vehicle intake through delivery.
• Assign repair jobs to Body Technicians and prioritize vehicles for teardown or paint.
• Support teammates during peak times by receiving customers, checking-in vehicles and writing estimates as needed.
• Ensure repairs meet Crash Champions and I-Car quality standards.
• Ensure repairs are billed accurately and correctly and back-of-shop PPE protocol is upheld.
• Complete shop payroll and staffing processes and manage staff PTO, vacation, or leave.
• Manage daily production flow and communicate with Body Technicians, Collision Estimators, and Parts Managers.
• Write DRP complaint estimates after full disassembly and damage discovery, update estimates, and lock final estimates.
• Interview, hire, coach, and develop teammates.
