Job summary

Jobtailor in Penn Hills, PA is seeking a skilled Shop Manager for collision repair operations. You will oversee front and back shop workflows from vehicle intake to delivery, driving throughput, quality, and efficiency while meeting revenue KPIs.

You will assign repair jobs to Body Technicians, guide a team, and collaborate with Estimators and Parts Managers. Proficiency with CCC ONE Total Repair Software and general tech aptitude are essential.

• Knowledge of Collision Industry including high-level knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements for a variety of carriers.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve successful results
• Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software, CCC ONE Total Repair Software
• Proficient with Computers and other technology
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Manage front and back of shop from vehicle intake through delivery and meet location KPIs
• Manage shop throughput, production quality, and efficiency
• Assign repair jobs to Body Technicians and prioritize teardown/paint
• Support teammates during peak times by receiving customers, checking in vehicles, and writing estimates as needed
• Ensure repairs meet Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standards
• Ensure repairs are billed accurately and back-of-shop PPE protocol is upheld
• Complete shop payroll and staffing, including punch-in/out guidelines, flag-hour procedures, and staff PTO, vacation, or leave
• Manage daily production flow and communicate with Body Technicians, Collision Estimator, and Parts Managers
• Write DRP complaint estimates after full disassembly and damage discovery, update estimates, and lock final estimates
• Interview, hire, coach, and develop teammates
