Job summary

Jobtailor in Fountain, CO is seeking an experienced Collision Shop Manager to oversee end-to-end shop operations, drive revenue, and ensure quality through Crash Champions and I-CAR standards. You will lead Body Technicians, assign work, review estimates, and coordinate with Estimators and Parts Managers to maintain smooth daily production and on-time deliveries.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, plus hands-on experience with CCC ONE Total

Qualifications

• Knowledge of collision industry, including insurance procedures and carrier requirements.
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively to meet objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve results.
• Proficient with estimating software, specifically CCC ONE Total Repair Software.
• Proficient with computers and technology.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed location revenue goals and other KPIs.
• Manage front and back of shop from vehicle intake through delivery to ensure throughput, quality, and efficiency.
• Assign repair jobs to Body Technicians and prioritize teardown or paint.
• Support teammates during peak times by receiving customers, checking in vehicles, and writing estimates as needed.
• Ensure repairs meet Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standards, estimates billed accurately, PPE protocol followed.
• Complete shop payroll and staffing processes, enforce punch-in/out and leave policies.
• Communicate with Body Technicians, Collision Estimators, and Parts Managers to manage daily production flow.
• Write DRP-compliant estimates after full disassembly and damage discovery, update estimates, and lock final estimates.
• Interview and hire candidates, providing coaching and growth support.

• Communicate with Body Technicians, Collision Estimators, and Parts Managers to manage daily production flow and meet delivery requirements
• Write DRP-compliant estimates after full disassembly and damage discovery, update Collision Estimator estimates, and lock final estimates as needed
• Interview and hire candidates, and provide individual teammate coaching, feedback, and growth support
