AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a qualified information professional to manage metadata, indexing, and material organization in an onsite environment.
The role requires data entry accuracy, 1 year of information acquisition experience, and strong Excel/Access skills for reporting and analytics. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are essential for customer support and internal collaboration.
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent library experience is a plus. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a setting which is primarily responsible for the acquisition and organization of information. Data entry experience with excellent attention to detail is required. Capable of indexing and sorting documents or records. Familiarity with a digital information center, library, or records center requirements and processes is also required. Good organizational and human relations skills, as well as good verbal communication skills are required. Additional skills include Analytical and reporting skills with MS Excel and MS Access required. Organizes and indexes content.
Functional responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Assigns all required meta-data and inputs in the appropriate format. Organizes and sorts original materials as needed. Works with paper and electronic content. responsible for analyzing and organizing information resources; responds to customers seeking information about active and historical collections using both manual and automatic systems; provides assistance with the circulation and distribution of documents; Additional responsibilities include: Actively works with Business Units to ensure accurate submittal of contracts; responds to client’s custom query and reporting needs, creates and distributes information center reports, responds to Business Unit needs; and delivers one-on-one training. Applies established access controls to information holdings. Loads and indexes images in Documentum and CLM, performs quality checks on scanned images, responsible for indexing and sorting of new materials. Applies established access controls to information holdings; and supporting records center projects.
