Job summary

DHL is seeking a Gateway Clearance Supervisor in Kentucky to lead customs clearance activities and ensure regulatory compliance for shipments in and out of the gateway environment. You will oversee policy implementation, monitor performance metrics, and guide a team of about 30 staff with two direct reports.

Candidates should have a BS/BA and 3–5 years of supervisory experience, with professional certification preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required with 3–5 years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
• Must have access to secured airport areas and be able to obtain SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate customs clearance activities efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations for imported/exported goods.
• Establish and monitor policies and service standards for clearance operations.
• Lead a team of about 30 with two direct reports; hire, coach and develop staff.
• Assign work, set deadlines, review performance, and manage according to policies.
