Job summary

DHL Express in Kentucky is seeking a Supervisor, Gateway Clearance to verify tariffs, weight, and documentation for shipments to and from international destinations.

You will manage a ~30-person team, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance. The role requires BS/BA and 3–5 years' supervisory experience with a SIDA badge process; anticipated schedule Tue–Fri and Sat shifts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required with 3–5 years in a related field.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating teams.
• Strong knowledge of federal and foreign shipping regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customs clearance activities in gateway operations.
• Ensure compliance with shipment regulations for imports/exports.
• Develop and enforce policies and service standards.
• Lead a team of about 30, including coaching and development.
• Schedule and performance management per company procedures.
