DHL Express in Erlanger, KY seeks a Gateway Clearance Supervisor to verify tariffs, weight, and documents for international shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S. and foreign regulations.

You will lead a team of about 30, hire, coach, and develop staff, coordinate customs clearance activities, and strive to meet KPIs across all DHL facilities. This role requires a BS/BA and 3–5 years supervisory experience; professional certification may be required in some areas; eligibility for a SIDA badge

Competenze

• BS/BA and 3–5 years of related experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
• General understanding of quality, productivity, budgeting, cost control, and supervisory approaches.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
• This role requires access to secured airport areas and SIDA badge eligibility.

Mansioni

• Manages and coordinates customs clearance activities in a gateway environment efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Ensures compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.
• Establishes and revises policies, procedures and service standards for customs clearance operations.
• Ensures policies and procedures are consistently administered.
• Meets key performance indicators for a given product.
• Supervises about 30 staff with two direct reports, including hiring, coaching, training, and development.
