The role requires coordinating with customs officials as needed, managing a ~30‑person team with two direct reports, and driving performance and process improvements across the gateway operations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required in a related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a related role with supervisory experience.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
• Requires access to secured airport areas and SIDA badge eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates customs clearance activities in gateway environment in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
• Ensures compliance with regulations governing shipment, receipt, and documentation of goods.
• Establishes and revises policies, procedures, and service standards for customs clearance operations.
• Meets key performance indicators for the product.
• Supervises a staff of ~30 with two direct reports, including coaching and development.
