Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, international business, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent experience in the transportation and logistics industry may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of air export operations, documentation, and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Familiarity with TMS and/or ERP systems is preferred.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the air export team to ensure shipments are processed accurately and timely.
• Supervise and coordinate a team of air export coordinators and communicate with customers, carriers, and stakeholders.
• Resolve issues related to shipments, delays, or customs clearance problems.
• Ensure documentation such as air waybills and commercial invoices is accurate and complete.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain compliance with customs regulations, export controls, and hazardous materials rules.
• Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of service.
• Hire, train, and manage performance of the air export coordinators.
