Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Freight Forwarder for Air Export in Grapevine. The role requires coordinating air export shipments from the gateway, booking space, and liaising with carriers to ensure timely delivery to international destinations.

Responsibilities include preparing export documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and tracking shipments to the destination airport. Proficiency with CargoWise or CHAMP is preferred; a Bachelor's in logistics is recommended.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, air export operations, or international logistics.

Responsibilities

Coordinate air export shipments from the gateway facility, including booking cargo space and coordinating with carriers.
Prepare and verify export documentation (air waybills, invoices, packing lists) for customs clearance.
Monitor shipment progress and provide status updates to clients and stakeholders.
Facilitate customs clearance, including filing export declarations and permits as needed.
Negotiate rates with suppliers to balance service quality and cost.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of shipment data and documentation.
