Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a talented Gateway Air Export/Import Supervisor to oversee the air export team at Dallas–Fort Worth area operations. You will manage coordinators, ensure timely processing, and coordinate with customers and carriers to meet shipment requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of air export operations, documentation, and regulations, plus excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve issues under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, international business or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of air export operations, documentation and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with TMS/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the air export coordinators to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor export shipments for compliance with customer requirements and policies.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and stakeholders for timely and accurate deliveries.
• Resolve shipment issues such as delays, damages, or customs problems.
• Ensure accurate completion of air waybills, invoices and other export documents.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet or exceed expectations.
• Ensure compliance with customs, export controls and hazardous materials regulations.
• Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
