Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Freight Forwarder, Air Export, Defense, Grapevine, Air & Sea US. The role focuses on exporting goods by air and ocean, coordinating bookings, handling documentation, and ensuring compliance and timely updates for customers.

The candidate will manage carrier bookings, prepare customs paperwork, track shipments, and collaborate with internal departments to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in air and ocean exports is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• All other duties as assigned
• Fluency in English is required
