Job summary

Carvana seeks a Safety & Security professional to protect associates, customers, and vehicles at our Blue Mound site. You will monitor access, manage gate operations, perform safety checks, and respond to incidents with calm, decisive action.

The role emphasizes teamwork, on-site presence, and adherence to safety protocols in a 24/7 environment. Prior security or safety experience is valued; English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make solid decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to build quick working relationships and connect with people.
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle conflict positively and productively.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and actively listen to signals.
• Monitor live cameras and investigate alerts using the security platform.
• De-escalate tensions and coordinate with partners to keep operations running.
• Manage vehicle movement through gates and document movements.
