Job summary

Carvana seeks a Safe and Secure Associate to monitor gates and protect assets at the Inspection Center and lot. You will act as the face of Carvana for associates, vendors, and visitors, while documenting movements and enforcing access protocols.

Responsibilities include patrolling facilities, communicating effectively with teams, and supporting incident response. Training in first aid, CPR, and AED will be provided, with a focus on incident readiness and safety culture.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of strong decision‑making in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Ability to handle conflict situations positively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and properly document the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
• Serve as the face of Carvana to associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Lead with effective communication with team, partners, and customers, utilizing strong listening and dialogue skills.
• Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and Logistics facility yard and buildings, documenting any security and/or safety concerns.
• Become trained and certified on life‑saving measures such as first aid, CPR, and AED, and be available when needed.
