Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Safe and Secure Associate in Belton, MO, to help protect people, assets and operations at our facility. You’ll staff gates, monitor access, document movements of vehicles, and uphold safety and incident response protocols.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in customer service, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to de-escalate conflicts. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time role with benefits and $18 per hour compensation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and protocols.
• Willingness to work a night shift schedule as described.

Responsibilities

• Manage and document vehicle movement at gates and entrances.
• Be the face of Carvana to visitors and vendors and ensure access control.
• Conduct routine security patrols and report safety concerns.
• Assist with badge creation, CCTV review, and incident response with the team.
