Job summary

Carvana in Charlotte is hiring for a Full-time Safety & Secure associate. This boots-on-the-ground role protects people and vehicles, monitors the gate, conducts safety audits, and supports emergency response.

You’ll walk the site, restock supplies, and drive a safety-first culture. You should have 1–2 years in a customer service environment, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Solid decision-making in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to build strong working relationships quickly.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks.
• Ability to handle conflict in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Monitor live cameras, review footage, and investigate alerts using the security platform.
• Run point at the gate enforcing ingress/egress procedures.
• Manage and document vehicle movement through inspection entry/exit gates.
• Be trained and certified in first aid, CPR, and AED and use when needed.
• Maintain site safety, conduct audits, and reinforce best practices.
