Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, verify demographics and referrals as needed.
• Verify insurance information and assist with pre-authorizations when required.
• Process co-pays, collect payments, and support daily deposit preparation.
• Answer calls, route messages, and schedule or modify appointments.
• Support check-out procedures and patient follow-up communications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
• Prepare and file medical records, releases, and referrals as required.
• Coordinate with physicians and practice staff to meet patient needs.
• Assist with interpreter services when required and coordinate translations.
• Manage mail, faxes, and document handling per practice guidelines.
• Support practice operations and adapt to practice needs across departments.
