Job summary

TC Energy in Cameron, West Virginia, is seeking a Student Intern to support field operations in the Erie Plains region. You will gain hands-on experience with natural gas compressors, maintenance activities, troubleshooting processes and field inspections under supervision.

This paid internship runs May 2027 through August 2027. You must be enrolled in Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation or related technical programs and be available for full-time work (40 hours per week) while completing

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation, or related technical / trades program.
Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027.
Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment.
Gain hands-on experience using field tools, equipment, and operational procedures.
Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures for field work.
Participate in site visits, equipment inspections, and project activities under supervision.
Develop technical and problem-solving skills applicable to a field technician role.
