Job summary

TC Energy is offering a Student Intern position for May 2027 through August 2027 to support field operations and the safe transport of natural gas. You will gain hands-on experience working with compression equipment, field maintenance, inspections, and project activities under supervision.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects and developing practical technical skills that support safe and reliable energy delivery across North

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation, or related technical / trades program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to May 2027 start date.
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during May–August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations while demonstrating TC Energy's core values of Safety In Every Step, Personal Accountability, One Team, and Active Learning
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment
• Gain hands-on experience using field tools, equipment, and operational procedures
• Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures for field work
• Participate in site visits, equipment inspections, and project activities under supervision
• Develop technical and problem-solving skills applicable to a field technician role
