Job summary

TC Energy is offering a Student Intern position to support field operations in the safe and reliable transportation of natural gas. You will work with experienced technicians, assisting with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of compressors and related equipment.

As a Student Intern, you will learn field procedures, safety protocols, and project participation under supervision, gaining practical skills for a future career in energy infrastructure across North America.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation, or related technical/trades program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027.
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations while demonstrating TC Energy's core values of Safety In Every Step, Personal Accountability, One Team, and Active Learning
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment
• Gain hands-on experience using field tools, equipment, and operational procedures
• Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures for field work
• Participate in site visits, equipment inspections, and project activities under supervision
• Develop technical and problem-solving skills applicable to a field technician role
