Job summary

TC Energy invites you to join as a Student Intern for May–August 2027, supporting field operations related to the safe and reliable transportation of natural gas and compressor equipment management.

You will work with experienced technicians, participate in site visits and inspections, and develop practical technical skills to prepare for a career in energy delivery across North America. The internship emphasizes safety, collaboration, and hands-on learning in real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation, or related technical/trades program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to May 2027 start.
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations while upholding TC Energy's core values.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment.
• Gain hands-on experience using field tools, equipment, and procedures.
• Learn and apply safety protocols for field work.
• Participate in site visits, equipment inspections, and project activities under supervision.
• Develop technical and problem-solving skills for a field technician role.
