Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. You will motivate staff, uphold guest service standards, and drive sales through product knowledge and effective merchandising.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Relevant retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong people skills with a guest-focused mindset.
• Experience delivering best-in-class guest service and managing store operations.
• Preferred education includes an associate or bachelor’s degree and retail management exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service, greet guests, and assist with gaming needs.
• Supervise store team in absence of Store Manager and support sales goals.
• Process transactions accurately using POS and manage cash handling.
• Train and coach Sales Associates to maintain policy adherence and service standards.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and inventory is properly managed.
