Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. You will supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, deliver exceptional guest service, and drive sales through product knowledge and a shopper‑friendly environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6+ months of retail management experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales/guest service/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service; greet guests promptly and respond to questions.
• Assist Store Manager in scheduling and training; ensure compliance with policies.
• Supervise Sales Associates in absence of Store Manager.
• Manage inventory, POS transactions, and daily reconciliations.
• Promote guest benefits and loyalty programs; support Omni-Channel orders.
