Job summary

GameStop in the United States seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all store operations. You will drive a sales culture by sharing product knowledge, promoting guest loyalty, and ensuring a clean, organized environment.

Responsibilities include supervising Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, handling POS transactions, training teams, and assisting with scheduling and payroll. Strong people skills and store leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred; 2 years sales/guest service/management preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide best-in-class service.
• Support store operations and sales initiatives; supervise associates in manager’s absence.
• Process purchases/returns accurately using POS system and issue receipts.
• Train and coach associates on company policies and guest service standards.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Manage scheduling, payroll approvals, and attendance within guidelines.
