Job summary

GameStop in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will lead guest service, promote sales initiatives, and ensure a clean, organized shopping environment while supervising Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders.

The role requires a hands-on leader with retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to train staff, manage scheduling, payroll, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests, answer questions, and promote products.
• Support store operations, visual merchandising, and current sales initiatives.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in training and supervising Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders.
• Manage scheduling, payroll approvals, and adherence to company policies.
