Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Engineer to support enterprise data centers and enable game-day success for a major league environment. You will manage Windows, Linux, and Unix servers, cloud platforms, and a wide range of networking technologies.

The role emphasizes hands-on VMware, AWS/Azure/O365, SolarWinds and DataDog monitoring, incident leadership, and secure networking in on-prem and cloud environments. A fast-paced, mission-critical setup awaits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent) ITIL and technical certifications in servers and/or cloud (preferred).
Experience: Demonstrated expertise in a complex, multisite environment.
Provide game day support on major holidays when games are played.

Responsibilities

Server Administration: Manage and maintain Windows, Linux, and Unix environments to ensure optimal performance.
Cloud Operations: Administer cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and O365 for enterprise workloads and containerization.
Virtualization: Manage VMware-based environments for performance, scalability, and availability.
System Monitoring: Use SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure network reliability and performance.
Incident Management: Lead network-related incident resolution and SLA adherence.
Security Best Practices: Implement secure networking solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network topology maps and troubleshooting procedures.
