Job summary
Blue Mantis in Portsmouth, NH is hiring an IT Operations Engineer to support enterprise data centers and ensure high-availability network operations for game-day and day-to-day IT. You will manage Windows, Linux, Unix, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/O365), VMware, and network gear (Nexus/Arista/Meraki).
Strong problem-solving and scripting skills are essential to adapt to a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- CCNA and CCNP (or equivalent) ITIL and cloud/server certifications preferred.
- Experience in multisite, enterprise IT with game-day or mission-critical environments.
- Strong experience with Cisco Nexus/Arista/Meraki switches and Cisco Wireless Controllers.
- Proficient in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments; ServiceNow ticketing experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, O365) and VMware virtualization.
Responsibilities
- Server administration across Windows, Linux, and Unix systems.
- Manage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, O365) and VMware virtualization.
- Operate VMware-based environments for performance and availability.
- Monitor network health with SolarWinds and DataDog.
- Lead incident resolution to meet SLAs.
- Create and maintain network documentation and topologies.
