Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a kitchen support role in Alaska to assist with food preparation and basic galley duties. You will support the Head Cook and learn multiple kitchen functions while maintaining cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include food prep, dishwashing, inventory counts, and routine deep cleaning. Candidates should have a Food Handler’s card within 30 days and prior experience in a key position at a Trident location is preferred.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s card; required within 30 days of employment.
• Has worked in a Key position at a Trident location for a minimum of 1 year
• HS Diploma or equivalent (or degree, etc.)
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Prepare food under guidance of Head Cook.
• Learn different galley roles under Cook supervision.
• Food prep, cleaning, dishwashing, baking, restocking, inventory counts.
• Perform routine deep cleaning of cooking area.
• Wash dishes and cookware, clean tables and floors, take out trash.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
