Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Alaska is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to prepare food and assist with buffet service for employees and crew. You will work under the Head Cook and learn multiple galley roles in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified applicants have a Food Handler’s card within 30 days; preferred candidates hold a college certificate or HS diploma. Emphasis on safety, teamwork and maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen is essential.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s card required within 30 days of employment.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training.
• HS Diploma or equivalent (or degree, etc.).
• Previous experience food service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food under the guidance of Head Cook.
• Learn different roles in the galley and assist as needed under supervision.
• Food prep, cleaning, dishwashing, baking, restocking, inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean working environment and comply with safety policies.
• Follow training and environmental/safety procedures and report incidents.
