Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking candidates for the Warehouse Operations Management Trainee (MIT) Program, based in Webster, TX, with opportunities across Texas. It is an entry-level, hands-on training program in our distribution warehouse, including six months of guidance in operations, purchasing and leadership.

Classroom sessions at the EDGEucation Center in Plano and on-site training prepare you for future roles nationwide. Relocation assistance is provided to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related field with 2.5 GPA min.
• Leadership or problem-solving experience in a supervisory or similar role.
• Willing to relocate at company expense and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in Operations, Management and Purchasing within the distribution center.
• Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance and retail customers to understand the business.
• Attend classroom sessions covering operations, leadership and operating systems.
• Deliver a final comprehensive presentation to senior management on program completion.
