Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking candidates for its Management in Training - Operations (MIT) Program, an entry-level, hands-on training track based in our distribution warehouses. The program provides six months of guided learning in operations, purchasing, and leadership, with real responsibilities from day one.

Participants learn from experienced team members, complete classroom sessions at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX, and graduate to supervisory or managerial roles nationwide.

Qualifications

• Degree with minimum 2.5 GPA in a relevant field.
• Experience leading or solving problems in a work setting.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program (company expense).
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service, and retail store customers in pool/irrigation/landscape business.
• Participate in classroom sessions at EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas on operations, leadership and systems.
• Present to senior management upon MIT program completion.
• Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned.
