Job summary

CVS Health is building a leadership pipeline by offering a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. The program spans 16 weeks with self-paced, collaborative training, including virtual and hands-on experiences, supported by district leadership, HR, a Training Store Manager, and a Store Manager coach.

As a participant, you will develop in customer service, merchandising, and inventory management while gaining leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor.
• The four-year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program.
• Support your store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of "helping people on their path to better health."
• Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market that you work in.
