Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to develop future store leaders. The 16-week training blends virtual and hands-on learning, guided by a district leader, HRBP, training store manager and store manager coach.

Participants will learn through key experiences, merchandising, customer care, and operations while preparing for a CVS Store Manager role. Full-time in the designated market with potential promotions based on performance and openings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; four-year degree preferred or relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Retail management experience or CVS Supervisor experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with leadership to support learning experiences and path to promotion during the program.
• Support store operations as a management team member and lead aligned with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in CVS's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be willing to accept promotion roles within the designated market as needed.
