Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and Leadership Team in delivering an outstanding guest experience.

The role combines sales, merchandising and operational duties, with progression from AIT to Senior Assistant Manager, and responsibility for training and motivating teammates. You will work directly with the Store Manager and Leaders to drive sales, recruit new teammates, and maintain high standards of customer service

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience or progression from an assistant role is preferred.
• Ability to train and motivate teammates and manage daily store operations.
• Strong customer service orientation and sales-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales generation and provide legendary guest service.
• Coach and develop Teammates, assisting Store Manager when needed.
• Oversee merchandising, floor presentation and loss prevention basics.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new teammates.
• Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures and POS operations.
