Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Davenport, IA is seeking an Assistant in Training/Assistant Manager to help create an outstanding shopping experience for Guests.

You will perform sales, merchandising and daily operational tasks, working with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit Teammates and provide leadership. The role advances from AIT to Assistant Manager with higher-level duties, while sharing core responsibilities with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend and help locate merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest needs by suggesting additional items.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and share that knowledge with the team.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and policies.
• Lead by example with showmanship and top-notch customer service.
• Plan sales goals with Store Manager.
• Assist Store Manager in recruitment and training of Teammates.
• Execute Open/Close procedures and ensure store readiness.
