Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring for a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while driving in-store sales of furniture, accessories and services. You will assist customers through the La-Z-Boy selling process, promote the Design program, and support professional home consultations to create customized room designs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and product knowledge, with opportunities to earn base pay plus uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate, build rapport, and influence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and contribute to store sales goals by selling La-Z-Boy furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to hit Design program sales targets.
• Follow the La-Z-Boy selling process to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Schedule home consultations and present customized room designs and product recommendations.
• Open and close the store, maintain displays, and manage customers and orders.
• Maintain accurate customer records and facilitate timely deliveries.
