Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Boardman, OH is seeking a Sales Associate to drive in-store furniture sales through exceptional customer service and knowledge of the La-Z-Boy selling process. You will promote the Design program, assist the Designer, and strive to deliver a first-class customer experience.

The role offers training pay of $15/hour for 2-6 weeks, then post-training base pay plus uncapped commissions and a potential quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promotes the Design program and assists the Designer to reach goals.
• Builds rapport, handles objections, and closes sales.
• Schedules home consultations for customized room designs.
• Maintains store displays and supports visual merchandising.
• Handles deposits, payments, and orderly customer records.
• Provides outstanding customer service and follow-up.
