Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring in Ohio for a store sales associate. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, applying the La-Z-Boy selling process, and driving sales of furniture and design services.

You will support design consultations and promotions, aiming to build long-term customer relationships while meeting store targets. Training starts at $15/hour for 2-6 weeks with no commissions; after training, commission-based earnings and bonuses expand earning potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell furniture, accessories and services to meet store goals.
• Support Design program and assist Designer to reach design goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Schedule and follow up on home design consultations and sales opportunities.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist in training peers.
