Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Strongsville, OH is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to drive revenue through exceptional customer service and deep knowledge of La-Z-Boy products and design services.

The role offers training pay of $15-$20 per hour for 2-6 weeks, followed by a base plus uncapped commissions. Average annual earnings range from $35,000 to $75,000+, with comprehensive benefits and a commitment to work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La-Z-Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Develop and utilize sales skills including needs discovery, presentations, and closing.
• Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and design options.
