Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Beavercreek, OH, is hiring a Sales Associate to drive store sales through exceptional customer service and product knowledge of La-Z-Boy furnishings.

Training pay of $15 per hour for 2-6 weeks; post-training base pay $12.50 per hour, with uncapped commissions. Average annual earnings after training range from $45,000 to $65,000+. This role follows a 40-hour work week and includes comprehensive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales and helps achieve store goals.
• Sell furniture, accessories and services offered by La‑Z‑Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Follow the La‑Z‑Boy selling process to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Develop and use sales skills: approach, needs discovery, objections handling, closing and follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of product features and benefits and assist with design consultations.
