Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring to join a dynamic store team. You will drive sales of furniture and accessories, promote the Design program, and deliver a high level of customer service while following the La-Z-Boy selling process.

Training pays $15 per hour for 2–6 weeks, after which base pay starts at $12.50/hour with uncapped commissions and a potential annual earnings of $45,000–$65,000+. This role requires evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a customer-facing retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La-Z-Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Consistently execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and provide a favorable customer experience.
• Schedule professional home consultations to present customized room designs.
• Open and close the store; manage deposits and daily logs; maintain records.
