Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in the United States seeks a Sales Associate to drive store sales through exceptional customer service and knowledge of the La-Z-Boy selling process. Training pay of $15 per hour for 2-6 weeks (base varies by location) is provided, with long-term earning potential via commissions.

Average annual earnings after training range from $45,000 to $65,000+ (base, bonus, and commission). Benefits include medical, vision, dental, basic life insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales and contributes to store goals.
• Promotes the Design program and assists the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Executes the La‑Z‑Boy selling process and ensures a positive customer experience.
• Schedules professional home consultations for room designs and installations.
• Maintains knowledge of product lines and design services.
