Job summary

La‑Z‑Boy Incorporated is hiring in Ohio for a store sales role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales of furniture, accessories and services. The role includes promoting the Design program and assisting Designers to meet design‑driven sales goals.

Training pay starts at $16/hour for 2–6 weeks with base pay after training and uncapped commissions. Realistic annual earnings range from $35,000 to $55,000+ including base, bonus and commissions, with strong promotional

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to close sales.
• Experience in retail or furniture sales a plus; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process to deliver a positive customer experience.
• Develop sales skills including needs discovery, portfolio presentations, objections handling and follow‑up.
• Maximize promotions and maintain knowledge of product lines and services.
• Coordinate design consultations and support design-related functions in store.
