Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in the United States invites you to join our dynamic sales team. Earn an hourly base wage plus UNCAPPED commissions on all Sales, with training pay at $15 per hour for 2-6 weeks.

Average earnings after training range from $35,000 to $55,000+, reflecting base pay, bonuses and commissions. As a key contributor, you will drive store sales of furniture and design services, promote the Design program, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to pass background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drives Sales: Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La-Z-Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Consistently execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and strive to provide a favorable experience to all customers.
• Develop and utilize sales skills including approach, rapport building, needs discovery, portfolio presentations, objections handling, closing and follow-up.
• Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives and grassroot programs.
