Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Sales Associate to join our furniture team. You will drive store sales through exceptional customer service, product knowledge and the La-Z-Boy selling process, while assisting Design program and coordinating with designers.

We offer training pay, base pay with uncapped commissions, and a clear path to earning $50,000–$70,000+ yearly after training, plus benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by selling furniture, accessories, and services offered by La‑Z‑Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve established Design program sales goals.
• Consistently execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process and provide a favorable experience to all customers.
• Design Program: schedule professional home consultations and present customized room designs.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and assist with design-related functions in the store.
• Provide outstanding customer service and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
