4 LZB Retail, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Sales Associate in Charlottesville to drive store sales, develop customer relationships and promote the La‑Z‑Boy Design program. You will apply selling skills and product knowledge to deliver exceptional service and close sales.

The role includes design consultations, maintaining store displays, and meeting daily/weekly sales goals. Training wage and uncapped commissions are offered, with potential earnings of $50k–$70k+ after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience with ability to close a sale preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence customers.
• Persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with detail-oriented approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and contribute to store sales goals.
• Sell furniture, accessories and services offered by La‑Z‑Boy.
• Promote Design program and assist Designer to meet sales goals.
• Follow La‑Z‑Boy selling process to create positive customer experiences.
• Schedule professional home consultations for room designs.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and features.
• Support design-related functions in the store.
• Provide high level of customer service and follow-up.
• Schedule and complete deliveries with customers.
• Open and close the store as required.
