Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Florida is seeking a Sales Associate to drive store sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and promote the Design program. Learn the La‑Z‑Boy selling process and help create inspiring room designs for customers.

Training pay is $16 per hour for 2-6 weeks with no commissions; after training, base pay starts at $13 per hour plus uncapped commissions. Total annual earnings typically range from $45,000 to $65,000+ depending on location and performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Initiative to meet assigned goals and be motivated to achieve more.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process to provide a favorable customer experience.
• Develop sales skills from approach to closing and follow-up.
• Maximize store promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of product features and benefits.
