Job summary

Everstory Partners seeks a Sales Counselor to help families choose funeral services, merchandise, and cemetery options with compassion and tact. You will guide selections and attend services, supporting families during a difficult time.

Compensation includes first-year earnings of $45,000-$55,000 plus uncapped commissions and training pay of $18.00/hour for six weeks. This full-time Maryland role may involve local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing or Sales preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided for job-related travel.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook).
• Experience with a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with problem-solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, merchandise, and cemetery offerings.
• Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
• Generate and pursue leads through walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting.
