Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to help families make informed funeral and cemetery decisions through consultative sales and community outreach.

You will build a sales pipeline, meet with clients, and guide them through purchasing decisions while earning commission based on performance. A training pay of $18.00 per hour applies for the first six weeks, with potential for a first-year earnings target of $60,000–$70,000 in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commission-based sales environment is required or preferred.
• Ability to build and maintain a sales pipeline through various channels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for consultative selling.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorial products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and the local community.
