Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a compassionate Sales Counselor in Springfield, MO to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery options with consultative, relationship-based sales. You will manage leads in HubSpot, follow up with prospects, and build a strong local pipeline through referrals, events, and walk-ins.

The role offers uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, plus paid training during the first six weeks and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, particularly in Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of experience in sales, including outside sales, B2C sales, sales consulting, customer service, business development, account management, or other relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred.
• Comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, consultative selling, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple leads, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and other business apps.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for local appointments; Mileage reimbursement provided.
• Must obtain and maintain state licenses within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities; conduct follow-ups with prospects.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and families.
